Iranian ambassador summoned to foreign ministry over diplomatic protocols
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following his recent public statements.
He met with Secretary-General Hani Shmeitli, who informed him of the need to adhere to diplomatic protocols outlined in international agreements on state sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, particularly the Vienna Convention.
