The Ministry of Public Works and Transport completed the installation of steel guard rails with reinforced bases along a 200-meter stretch on both the eastern and western lanes of the coastal highway in the Nahr Ibrahim area. The project is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve road safety across Lebanon’s main transportation arteries.
The installation aims to reduce the risk of traffic accidents by preventing vehicles from veering off the roadway, particularly in high-risk zones and sharp curves, thereby enhancing protection for all road users under various conditions.
The work was carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, which had issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth flow during the implementation period.
