The National News Agency reported that a massive fire broke out in a cluster of tents housing Syrian refugees in the area behind the Lebanese Red Cross center in the Shawakir area, east of Tyre.
The flames, whose cause remains unknown, completely burned down all the tents.
Civil Defense and Islamic Message Scouts fire trucks rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
