Photos: Protests and roadblocks in Bekaa
In protest against the repeated power outages and severe rationing in the towns of Western Bekaa, several roads at the entrances of Sohmor and Machghara were blocked by young men who gathered to oppose the arbitrary electricity cuts in the area.
They demanded a solution to this crisis, which has been troubling residents for several weeks. Following the intervention of local municipalities, the roads were reopened, and the remnants of burning tires were cleared by municipal authorities.
