The army seizes a truck containing military weapons and ammunition
The following statement was issued by the Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance:
A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, supported by a unit from the Army, seized a truck containing a quantity of military weapons and ammunition, as well as a quantity of drugs, in the Al-Shaab neighborhood in Baalbek.
Additionally, a unit from the Army arrested (Z.K.), a local resident, in the Younine area of Baalbek for possessing a military weapon and ammunition.
The unit also arrested (H.A.), a local resident, and (N.M.), a Syrian national, in the Taybeh area of Baalbek for firing shots and possessing a military weapon and ammunition.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
