General Edgar Lawandos urges vigilance, unity amid rising security challenges
Director General of State Security, Major General Edgar Lawandos, called on officers to maintain dedication and perseverance as Lebanon enters a new presidential era. Emphasizing the importance of ensuring public safety and national stability—especially with upcoming holiday periods—he warned of renewed security challenges on the horizon.
During a visit to the Mount Lebanon Regional Directorate in Dekwaneh, where he was received by the regional director and senior officers, Lawandos stressed the importance of full coordination among Lebanon’s security and military agencies in serving national interests.
This visit is part of a broader tour the General is undertaking to all regional directorates in the country.
