Prime Minister Nawal Salam concluded his visit to Saudi Arabia, where he performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in Mecca with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
They discussed strengthening bilateral relations, focusing on lifting the ban on Lebanese exports and supporting Lebanon’s reforms.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Lebanon is committed to ongoing reforms, particularly in financial and institutional sectors, to revive the economy. He also reaffirmed the government’s determination to assert the state’s authority across the entire country. Both sides highlighted the importance of stabilizing Syria for regional security.
Salam thanked Saudi Arabia for its efforts in border security and resolving pending issues with Lebanon.
