Berri apologizes for not receiving well-wishers, prays for unity, advancement, safety and stability
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri apologized for not receiving well-wishers on the occasion of Eid El Fitr due to the prevailing situation in Lebanon and the region as a result of Israel's continued attacks on Lebanon and its south, its continued violation of the ceasefire agreement and the provisions of Resolution 1701, and its continued war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Speaker wished the Lebanese in general, and Muslims in particular, and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations, a blessed and peaceful Eid.
He raised prayers to the Lord Almighty that the values of the holy month of Ramadan and the virtues of unity, compassion, solidarity, and cooperation would prevail for the benefit of the nation and the hopes and aspirations of the people to have recovery, safety and stability.
