Patriarch Rahi leads a series of meetings
Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, received Tourism Minister, Laura Khazen Lahoud, who sought his blessing after assuming office. The pair also discussed current affairs.
Rahi later met with Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon Jessica Svardstrom, with whom he reviewed Lebanon’s situation and bilateral relations.
Patriarch Rahi also welcomed a delegation representing Druze Sheikh Akl Sami Abi Al-Mona, who conveyed his greetings and invited him to a Ramadan iftar on March 21.
Talks reportedly covered spiritual and national issues, particularly concerning Mount Lebanon.
Among Rahi’s visitors was also Dr. Nawfal Daou.
