Berri broaches developments with Mikati and Economy Minister
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, Minister of Economy and Trade Amir Bisat who came on an acquaintance visit.
Discussions reportedly touched on the country’s general situation and political and economic developments.
Speaker Berri also received in Ain El Tineh, former Prime Minister Najib Mikati who came on a congratulatory visit on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The visit was an occasion to discuss the latest political developments.
On another note, Berri congratulated the Lebanese, in general, and Muslims in particular, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. Speaker Berri hoped that the holy month of Ramadan, which coincides with the advent of the blessed Lent, would be an occasion for everyone to come together and cooperate to preserve Lebanon.
