Mufti Derian broaches developments with former PM Diab, MP Baarini
Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, received at Dar Al-Fatwa, former Prime Minister Hassan Diab, who offered him congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
Discussions reportedly focused on the latest developments on the local arena.
Mufti Derian later received MP Walid Baarini, with whom he broached Lebanese and Arab affairs and the current conditions in the Akkar region.
MP Baarini also congratulated the Mufti on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing Lebanon integrity, peace, security and tranquility.
