Aoun calls Jordan’s King: We stand with you
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun held a phone call with Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to offer his condolences for the victims of the terrorist attack targeting mourners during a funeral at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in the village of Hamoud, in Jordan’s southern Karak Governorate.
President Aoun renewed Lebanon’s condemnation of the heinous crime, affirming that Lebanon, its president and people, stands alongside Jordan, its king, leadership and people. He also praised the Jordanian king’s wise patriotic stance and the widespread public solidarity with residents of the village targeted in the attack.
