Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea received a delegation from the Municipality of Bhamdoun Station, headed by Mayor Shadi Matta, to discuss development and service-related challenges facing the town.
According to a statement, the delegation outlined key municipal priorities and projects, highlighting the difficulties local authorities face in maintaining services and implementing development initiatives amid ongoing economic pressures.
The delegation stressed the importance of continued cooperation with the Lebanese Forces and support for local authorities to help meet citizens’ needs and strengthen municipal performance.
For his part, Geagea emphasized that municipalities remain on the front line of addressing successive crises due to their direct engagement with citizens, noting that local development is essential to improving living conditions and supporting stability in communities across Lebanon.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain coordination on development projects and issues affecting Bhamdoun Station and its residents.
