Netanyahu: We Are Back in al-Shaqif
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that “we have returned to the Beaufort Castle (Qalaat al-Shaqif) stronger than ever,” adding that “taking control of it is a dramatic turning point.”
He said, “We have broken through the barrier of fear, and we are taking the initiative and operating on all fronts in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon. It will take more time, but we will restore security to the residents of the north just as we did for the residents of the south.”
