The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expects Monday’s weather to be partly cloudy, with humidity remaining high and fog appearing in the highlands. Temperatures along the coast will remain largely unchanged, remaining below seasonal averages for June, while they will rise slightly in the mountains and inland.
The following bulletin was issued:
- General Situation: Stable spring weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin in the coming days.
Note: Average temperatures for June: Beirut between 22 and 30 degrees, Tripoli between 21 and 29 degrees, and Zahle between 16 and 32 degrees.
- Weather forecast for Lebanon:
Sunday: Partly cloudy with high humidity, leading to local fog in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures.
Monday: Partly cloudy with humidity remaining high and fog forming in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures along the coast, which will remain below seasonal averages for June, while temperatures will rise slightly in the mountains and inland.
Tuesday: Mostly clear with local fog forming in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures along the coast, which remain below seasonal averages, while rising slightly further in the mountains and inland, bringing them within seasonal ranges.
Wednesday: Generally partly cloudy with local fog forming in the highlands and a slight rise in temperatures.
- Temperatures along the coast will range from 17 to 28 degrees, in the mountains from 24 to 24 degrees, and inland from 14 to 31 degrees.
- Surface winds: Southwesterly to northwesterly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h
- Visibility: Good along the coast, occasionally poor in the highlands due to fog
- Relative humidity along the coast: Between 60 and 85 percent
- Sea conditions: Moderate wave height
