Hezbollah said in statements that the Islamic Resistance targeted an Israeli drone of the Hermes 450 (Zik) type at dawn on Friday over the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya with a surface-to-air missile.
It also said it fired two rocket barrages at Kiryat Shmona early Saturday morning, and struck the Meron base for surveillance and air operations in northern occupied Palestine with a precision rocket salvo.
In another statement, Hezbollah said that after close monitoring of Israeli movements, its fighters ambushed an Israeli military force at dawn that was attempting to advance toward the eastern outskirts of al-Ghandourieh. It added that explosive devices were detonated against the force, in coordination with artillery fire and rocket salvos.
According to the statement, the Israeli forces then withdrew their wounded under heavy smoke cover, after which the area was subjected to airstrikes and artillery shelling.
