Plasschaert: Major escalation takes us further away from any practical solution
UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert posted on X that the major escalation witnessed in recent days in the country, including the increasingly harsh rhetoric from both sides, are pushing us further and further away from any practical way out.
She considered that more airstrikes or drone attacks will only lead to costly victories, stressing that dialogue deserves a chance to succeed.
