A house in the town of Qlayaa, Marjeyoun district, was hit twice by artillery shelling from an Israeli tank, injuring the homeowner and his wife. They were transported to Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital by teams from the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense.
In the second strike, the town’s parish priest, Father Pierre Al-Rahi, was also injured, along with three other residents. Red Cross teams transferred the wounded for treatment, while the shelling caused damage to the targeted house and its surroundings.
