Journalists Targeted by Armed Men, Justice Ministry Steps In
Minister of Justice Adel Nassar issued the following statement:
“We have been informed that armed individuals, likely affiliated with Hezbollah, have stopped journalists near the Kafaat.
Immediately afterward, I contacted the Public Prosecutor of Cassation, Jamil Al-Hajjar, and the Government Commissioner at the Military Court, Claude Ghanem, who are directly following up on the matter and have in turn contacted the security agencies to pursue the case and take all necessary legal measures.”
