PM Nawaf Salam chairs meeting of National Water Authority
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam afternoon chaired a meeting of the National Water Authority, at the Grand Serail.
During the meeting, the situation of the country’s water sector was discussed.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Energy Joe Saddi, Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar, Minister of Industry Joe Issa Khoury, Minister of Environment Tamara Elzein, Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny, and Minister of Health Rakan Nassereddine.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makkieh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Corporation Jean Gebran, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the South Lebanon Water Establishment Wassim Daher, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the North Lebanon Water Establishment Khaled Obeid, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Litani River National Authority Sami Alawieh.
