The bells of St. John the Baptist Church in Zgharta rang at noon, coinciding with the funeral of His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican, mourning the passing of the Pope of the poor and marginalized.
The churches of Jezzine and its surrounding areas also rang their bells at the same time, in conjunction with the burial ceremony of Pope Francis.
