Macron to President Aoun: You Have Ended the Vacuum, Steered Lebanon to Recovery
French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed from Baabda Palace that France has stood by the Lebanese people over the past years, addressing President Aoun by saying, You have ended the political vacuum in Lebanon and are placing the country on the path to recovery.
He emphasized, We continue to support Lebanon in asserting its sovereignty over all its territories, adding that keeping Lebanon shielded from external interference is essential for maintaining the ceasefire. Macron also reiterated France's ongoing support for the Lebanese Army to sustain its deployment in the south.
He concluded, We will work with Lebanon to demarcate the borders along the Blue Line.
