Hamieh reviews reconstruction progress with World Bank delegation
Caretaker Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh met with a World Bank delegation headed by Alex Madeline, with whom he discussed the outcomes of the Bank’s meetings with relevant stakeholders on reconstruction efforts.
The discussions covered the ongoing preparations for the final report to be submitted to the World Bank’s management.
Both sides agreed on the fundamental pillars of the Emergency Aid Project for Lebanon, spearheaded by the Bank, which aims to support reconstruction, debris removal, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
