Patriarch Rahi broaches developments with Papal, French ambassadors
Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, received in Bkerke the Papal Ambassador to Lebanon, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, wit an accompanying delegation, offering him well-wishes on the occasion of the holy Christmas.
The visit was an occasion to discuss an array of ecclesiastical issues, Discussions also touched on the latest local and regional developments.
Patriarch Rahi later received in Bkerki the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herve Magro, offering him well-wishes on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year.
Emphasis was made on the necessity of cooperation of all concerned in Lebanon to elect a president for the republic and form a government so that life can return to the constitutional institutions.
