Prime Minister Nawaf Salam conducted an inspection tour of Rafic Hariri International Airport accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, to assess ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing aviation safety and improving passenger experience.
During his visit, Prime Minister Salam held a meeting with the head of Airport Security, Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury, and senior officials to review security and operational procedures currently in place. Discussions focused on streamlining the flow of passengers, reducing wait times, and improving overall travel efficiency.
The prime minister also engaged with relevant stakeholders on strategies to boost operational effectiveness and strengthen coordination among airport agencies.
Salam praised the dedication of airport staff and reiterated the government’s commitment to the continuous development of this vital gateway.
“Rafic Hariri International Airport must remain a bright window to the world and a symbol of Lebanon’s resilience and openness,” Salam said.
