Clash erupts as Juan Hobeich gets blocked from entering polling station
A dispute occurred when the current Mayor of Jounieh Juan Hobeich attempted to enter the Ghadir polling station this afternoon, whereby security forces intercepted him on basis that his registration number is in Sahel Alma.
Hobeich did not leave the polling station and insisted on entering the center after contacting Keserwan Mayor Strida Nabhan, who in turn contacted Mount Lebanon Governor Mohammad Makkawi, who granted him entrance permission.
