The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement this afternoon, in which it welcomed the decision by the United Arab Emirates' Foreign Ministry to lift the ban on Emirati citizens traveling to Lebanon and allow them to visit starting May 7, 2025, based on the directives of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of this decision, which came following President Joseph Aoun's visit to the sisterly United Arab Emirates, as it strengthens and promotes fraternal relations in the interest of both peoples and countries.
The statement concluded by expressing the Foreign Ministry's aspiration towards developing Lebanon's relations with all Arab countries, given the historical ties, belonging, and mutual fate that unites them with Lebanon.
