Circular from Interior Minister: Establishing or expanding refugee camps is prohibited
Based on the letter addressed by the National Litani River Authority, Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi, has directed the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces to take all legal measures to prevent the establishment or expansion of Syrian refugee camps near the Litani River in the Baalbek-Hermel and Bekaa Governorates, in order to mitigate environmental degradation.
