Al-Hajjar meets ICMPD Director General, Sri Lankan Ambassador
Minister of Interior Ahmad Al-Hajjar received International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) Director General Susanne Raab, in his office at the ministry.
Discussions touched on ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry and the Centre, particularly through training and capacity-building programs.
During the meeting, Raab affirmed the Centre’s readiness to provide assistance and support in areas related to migration, and to strengthen cooperation in line with the needs of Lebanon's security institutions in this field.
For his part, Minister Al-Hajjar stressed the importance of this cooperation and of benefiting from the Centre’s technical expertise.
Separately, Minister Al-Hajjar met with Sri Lankan Ambassador to Lebanon, Anura Withanage, with whom he discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to develop these ties, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
