Berri and Macron’s economic envoy discuss reform legislation
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received French President Emmanuel Macron’s economic envoy, Jacques De Lajugie, and his accompanying delegation at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh.
The meeting was attended by French Ambassador to Lebanon Patrick Durel and Parliament Speaker’s adviser Dr. Mahmoud Berri.
Discussions focused on general developments, as well as reform legislation approved by Parliament, particularly in the financial and economic fields.
Talks also covered bilateral relations between Lebanon and France.
