€500 Million for Lebanon.. Under One Condition!
The European Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, visited Baabda Palace and met with President Joseph Aoun.
After the meeting, Šuica announced the allocation of aid to Lebanon, stating, There is a new €500 million aid package for Lebanon, but it is conditional on implementing reforms, restructuring the banking sector, and reaching an agreement with the IMF. She also affirmed European support for President Aoun and the new government.
