Sports and Youth Minister meets US Ambassador
Minister of Youth and Sports Nora Bayrakdarian received in her office at the ministry, US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson, and an accompanying delegation.
Ambassador Johnson congratulated Minister Bayrakdarian on her ministerial appointment and wished her success.
Bayrakdarian briefed Ambassador Johnson on her vision for the ministry and for the youth and sports sectors, and the idea of launching a “digital platform” that links the sports, youth and scouting movement, its federations and associations, athletes and youth.
The Minister also dwelt on sports diplomacy that aims to build bridges between youth from all regions and sects and with friendly countries, including cooperation in exchange programs in related fields.
