Photos: The army continues its deployment in border areas
The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement:
Military units have been deployed in the town of Yaroun – Bint Jbeil in the central sector, and in the towns of Marwahin, Barka Risha – Tyre in the western sector, as well as in other border areas in the South of the Litani region following the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy, in coordination with the Quintet Committee overseeing the Ceasefire Agreement (Mechanism).
The army continues to support citizens in border towns and maintains close coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the situation in the mentioned area, within the framework of Security Council Resolution 1701.
