Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at Ain El-Tineh Palace, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Lebanon Imran Riza during which they discussed the United Nations programs in Lebanon, especially those related to the humanitarian field.
Berri also met with a delegation representing economic bodies, which included: former Minister Mohamed Choucair, President of the Economic and Social Council Charles Arbid, Head of the Lawyers Syndicate Fadi Al-Masri, Head of the Engineers Syndicate Fadi Hanna, Head of the Doctors Syndicate Youssef Bakhash, and Vice-Presidents of the General Labor Union Saad Eddin Hamidi Sakr and Hassan Fakih, where talks centered on political developments and the general situation in the country, particularly the economic and daily living conditions.
