Geagea: Our Journey is Challenging
Leader of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, in farewell to Pascal Sleiman: Our ongoing struggle is with all honorable Lebanese, aiming to prevent the recurrence of wars every 5 or 10 years, to uphold the dignity of our Lebanese passport globally, to shed the label of a nation associated with terrorism and Captagon, and to halt the cycle of assassination, killing, and kidnapping, as tragically exemplified by the case of Pascal.
Our struggle will persist until we establish well-defined and secure borders; it's not acceptable for criminal vehicles to effortlessly transport human bodies across the Lebanon-Syria border, he said.
Our journey is challenging, but together we will strive for real change and our vigilance remains unwavering, we fear nothing; no betrayal will deter us, no matter the obstacles we face, he said.
Our struggle is not driven by revenge, reaction, sectarianism, regionalism, or ethnicity, it aims to transition from the current painful and bitter reality to a desired future, he added.
