Kanaan bound for Washington to partake in IMF, WB Spring Meetings
Chairman of the Finance and Budget Parliamentary Committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, has been invited by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank to Washington, D.C., to participate in the “Spring Meetings”.
During his visit, Kanaan will hold meetings with officials involved in various Lebanese file.
A statement by MP Kanaan indicated that the visit, which will last for several days, will include political and financial meetings. Kanaan will meet with the US administration at the White House, the US Department of State, the US Department of Treasury, and Congress, in addition to meetings with the Lebanese community.
