Hajj Hassan tours Riyadh's Environment & Agriculture Week Exhibition
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Caretaker Minister of Agriculture Abbas Hajj Hassan, toured the “Arena” center in Riyadh, where the annual Environment and Agriculture Week 2024 Exhibition is currently taking place.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of various segments of society in the Kingdom on local environments and the correct environmental behaviors that must be practiced to maintain the sustainability of their resources.
It also aims to spread environmental awareness and community agricultural culture, achieve environmental sustainability, preserve natural resources, and reduce pollution of all kinds.
Hajj Hassan's tour came upon an invitation by the Saudi Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, where he commended the role that the Kingdom plays at home and abroad in working to mitigate global warming and expand green spaces, through internal projects carried out by the Ministry that are in harmony with the Green Middle East Project, which aims to plant 10 billion trees in Saudi Arabia and 40 billion trees in the Middle East.
