HEAD at Lebanon Blue Economy Dialogue 2024
The Human Environment Association for Development-HEAD, was proudly present at the UNEP-west asia office for Lebanon Blue Economy Dialogue 2024.
The Conference held in underscoring its commitment to sustainable marine resource management and economic growth. Represented by Mrs. Cynthia Zouein Helou, Dr. Dany El-Obeid, and Ms. Jihane Kabalan.
The conference, hosted in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme – Regional Office for West Asia, represented by Mr. Sami Dimassi, UNEP regional director of West Asia, Dr. Nasser Yassine the Lebanese minister of environment, Makhzoume Foundation,convened experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to harnessing the potential of the blue economy.
With a focus on Lebanon's National Blue Economy Dialogue, participants delved into strategies to promote sustainable development while safeguarding marine ecosystems.
As the conference concluded, participants reaffirmed their commitment to actionable strategies that prioritize environmental stewardship and inclusive economic growth.
The pivotal role played by HEAD, alongside esteemed partners, underscores the organization's leadership in advancing sustainable development goals at the intersection of environment and economy.
